Greetings!
Rasta Monkey is soon to come to the app store, so we are all really excited!
We’ve been featured on touch arcade and made a new gameplay video - check it
Thanks Unity for all your support and thank the great community here for all your help, we couldn’t have done it without you!
Jah bless!

Very nice game. I saw the game video. My ideas for an update was nice particle effects, when you collect a fruit and the enemies movements with more physics like slow start movement, than faster and the last move with a slower speed. I hope you understand what i mean.
Good luck with this game.
I’ve noticed a bit of pvrtc compression artefacts mainly on the menu.
We’ve had a similar issue and resorted to oversizing the resolution of the textures to 150% and sticking them on a polly avoiding the GUI which hides most of the compression artefacts.
Thanks! I am working on this problem right now, my solution was to go hard core 32bit ARGB and duck.
I am beta testing performance right now…
I am d/l monkey diving right now, looks great!
Monkeys indeed rule!
@Dock
Thanks dock! still working hard on fixing issues/bugs/performances…
I am still waiting for iTumbledrop, hows that going for you?
So far there are around 11000 downloads… however, I wonder how many people would download if we sell it for a price… heard that less than 1% of the people would buy…
so I am hoping someone can share their figures so the rest of know would know if there is really a market before we decide to spend time on it. I have a feeling that 99% of the people can’t make a cent out of appstore.
We are making money if this is what you are asking,
but the stats I heard are - %3 of apps are selling over 10,000 copies . we sold 33,000 and we are only selling the app for around a month.
we were promoted by Apple so that makes a big difference. we reached #14 top paid #9 top paid game apps in our peak .
The only way you can know whether people will buy it at a price is to set a price. I got it now before I have to pay, I’ll try it on my daughter! the design looks cool.
There is no doubt that you are making good money as your application is excellent (Hey, I wrote you long long time ago asking if you would port the game to iphone and you said you were considering at that time and now you have made it.)
Thanks for sharing the figures!! I am not planning to sell “Baby Flash Cards” at all as it did not take us long time to program at all and we just used some stock art we created long time ago for another project.
