Ray Interactor blocks thumbstick control for locomotion even when Anchor Control disabled

Is this a bug? The expected behaviour is that if Anchor Control is disabled on the ray interactor, then the thumbsticks should still work for movement.

I’m using the sample Complete XR Origin prefab.

No matter what I do, if the player is using the ray interactor to hold an item, it disables thumbstick control for movement only on that controller. This isn’t a problem with the direct interactor. Only the ray interactor.

It only disables the movement controls for the hand that is using the ray interactor. The controller not holding an item can still control movement.

If Anchor Control is set to active, anchor control does work with the thumbsticks. If it is unchecked then the thumbstick does nothing.

Tried it with and without force grab and it’s the same behaviour.

Tried disabling Rotate Anchor Action and Translate Anchor Action and makes no difference.

So, is it a bug, or have I missed something you can think of? :frowning:

This is fully resolved in xri 3.0 out of the box.
