Read a sound in unity 3D triggered from an iPad

I have to trigger a sound in Unity 3D by pressing a button which is located in an iPad app.
The sound source is located in a folder under Mac.
I do not know how. Do you have any solutions to offer me or even tutorials?

You would need to create some kind of connection between the two different applications then. Networking for Unity is available in all sorts of flavours.
