reading text file from unity doesnt work on iphone

hi, i have a local text file in my asset folder in my unity project which i will need to read. it works on the unity simulator, however when i port it to the iphone i lose text file. whats a workaround for this?

Use a public TextAsset and then drag and drop the txt file in the inspector slot.
Then manipulate it in the code as a normal string with TextAsset.text
