Is it possible to increase the real time shadows resolution?
I am using the highest possible but for some reason I still have visible squares when using point lights.
I would like to double the resolution, no matter what, if it’s only a question of memory.
In example if the shadow texture will grow from 2048 to 4096 I don’t care.
Another thing that I can’t understand: is there a parameter that allows to calibrate the soft shadows blur? It’s far too heavy for my use… and hard shadows are too blocky on the other side.
Decrease the distance of realtime shadows in the quality preferences. Then it uses the resolution of them for a smaller area, increasing the quality. As for changing soft shadow settings, switch to soft shadows and the bias and softness settings are there in the rollout.
