Realistic Car Models (considering bringing them to the Asset Store)

Hi Unity people

We are a CG content provider based in Japan. Out main focus over the last few years has been creating high quality 3D assets, mostly for the Japanese ArchVis market. However lately we’ve been using Unity for various projects.
Since out assets are in the low to mid poly range and we’re using them in our own projects we’ve been considering offering some of them to the Unity community through the assets store. Of course we would like to know if people are interested at all and also possibly adapt our models to your needs.

Today I’d like to show some of our 3d car models. This is one of our models imported in Unity

And here is a preview of some of our car models (click to see full res).

Facts about the models:
-~15,000 polygons each
-not UV-unwrapped at the moment but we’ll unwrap them for the asset store
-simple interior
-doors do not open/close

I don’t want to inundate you with questions but if you could tell me the one most important thing that would influence your buying decision that would be extremely helpful!

Ah yes, if there is enough interest I’ll provide a couple of models you can download for free and take a closer look!

Do you have the rights to be able to sell those from the car companies? Would be very wary of buying such an asset if there is no guarantee that Audi is going to have my app removed from the App store due to using a R8 in my game.

Yes, I’d be interested and I have clients who would also be interested. This is for traffic visualization, so the more mundane cars are most useful. Please include maps for the metal/roughness PBR workflow!

MikeUpchat, regarding the rights, we’re always very careful with this kind of stuff. We’ve been selling our assets online for almost 10 years and haven’t had any complaints.
