Realistic Unity Graphics

Demo project “3D configurator of Watches” was being brought to perfection for showing exact the Unity possibilities. For the purpose using an engine for creation on-line configurators and 3D viewers in the section of Luxury goods. For iPad and Android tablets wasn’t been done any optimization at all, and it’s the most positive fact. After all, we got tired of explaining clients that WebGL and Flash (stage 3d) don’t reach many points, that’s why we created an obvious demonstration.

Great work! I really like it. The initial navigation could be improved. It isn’t very intuitive. I would add a slider at the bottom, or something that will drag the camera from left to right (to slide past all the displays).

Thanks for the advice, its non commercial project and we have some time limits for perfectionism ) but we fix that at free time.

Impressing work for me!

Very nice, it could be the future of ecommerce.

Very well done, congrats!

Very Nice

Good jop

The level of detail and fidelity is breath taking.
Astonishing work guys!

Lovely …

In ecommerce today one of the hardest things is coming up with unique quality content, which Google smiles upon, and creating things like videos and images and so on can be expensive… in the cases where someone can really provide a realistic model of a product and be able to present it in a Unity Webplayer like with these watches, the shopping experience could be significantly magnified. Videos can increase conversion rates up to 80%. .and with the clarity/quality of the webplayer presentation, plus interactivity, I imagine it would have an even more powerful impact. The main hurdle though is in the modelling and setting up the shaders/materials etc.

Indeed, the works for 3D modeling and rest setup are still quite large, so we focus on the Luxury section. In general, I think that the app store and google play are very big marketing platforms for product manufacturers out of Internet and placing catalogs of goods in 3D – might seriously raise sales and brand popularization. What about web player – in fact there’s problem with it. I offer clients but they refuse because of installation the Unity web player.
There’s quite serious issue – what engine will be standard for presenting 3D content in web in the future ? Since the regularity of Internet evolution is obvious: First was Web text, then appeared the image, now video content is dominated, I think the next step is – realtime 3d content. Here is the one of our examples that demonstrates using the Unity in non-game direction

But unfortunately client confined by HTML5 configurator, and it is retained as a demo. But we’ll still do our best to make this market begin to develop.

Jaw Dropping!

Great work.

Can you share what was your workflow? For example 3D tool used… Unity3D settings…

I am not a 3d artist but curious to know how you can achieve such impressive graphic.

In two words ): Modeling - 20K polys at one watch.

Texturing - small tilible textures, Lightmap on room - baked in 3d software, Lights - 2 directional lights in unity, shade - our written metal \ carpaint shader.
You can download shader, we freewared them.

If people have interest for watch demo (over 100.000 on youtube) i will make a full video tutorial, how to created that scene.

I will definitely be interested , let’s see how it goes your video, good luck then!

I tried your shader on a tank and it looks nice.

Thanks, now we work on mobile version of this shader

Gorgeous!

Great work! Impressive details! Congrats!
