Realistic Water

Is there a way to make the water in Unity more realistic ? I am using the “Water(Pro Only)” and I want to make the water look something like this: THIS

This 2 tutorial have custom shader that you can tweak and modify. But keep in mind that more realistic water tooks more CPU/GPU time:

I’d start in this forum - in addition to the links to various implementations of deep ocean waves (many of which are free), you’ll pick up a lot of the terminology in ocean rendering. (Be warned - it’s a long thread, so bring a pot of coffee.)

If you have the budget, take a look at the Triton SDK; it is a very efficient simulation.

I guess you just use the Shaders that are used to take that screenshot. :slight_smile:
