Realtime Cities Initiative: Virtual Dubuque WIP

We’re soon launching an early beta version of this premiere city in our new Realtime Cities initiative by Arch Virtual, including a variety of modules from ArchTech Engine, designed to be used as a community resource for architectural visualization, city planning, education, community engagement and more.

There’s an intro video on the main page that explains the general idea, and some early builds of Main Street and the city overview model accessible here:

We’re currently seeking development partners to build new features, create custom content, and build out additional architecture and cities around the world, so please send us a note to learn more.

very interesting!

Another nice project!

I hope that the project will help me create cities for games.

Thanks @bigkahuna!

@jeffmorris If you’d like to license or customize the existing environments we’ve built into a game, we can definitely work something out.

Very interesting!

I wish to create 3D model of Staten Island, NY and maybe the whole New York City area for a driving game.

Jon, I have followed several of your posts and some of your blog. My background is in landscape architecture and urban design with interests in procedural modelIng(city engine, Houdini) to rapidly generate cities/landscapes for unity based simulations. I would love to get involved with your project any way that I can.
