Realtime GI not displaying correctly

Hi Guys,

I am just working on my first scene with realtime GI and trying to light it with emissive surfaces, and am finding that I am not getting good results using my mesh i bought in from Maya, but when I create a primitive in unity and put the same material on that, I get good results, Im kinda new at this, has anyone got any idea where I am going wrong?

Thanks,
Peter Seckold.

From the top picture you can see all the strips that are emissive, and the primitive cylinder I made, but as you can see from the bottom pic, the only emissive surface that is working correctly is the primitive

They are probably too thin. You might need to increase the intensity of the emissive material, or increase the resolution of the lightmap.

ill give this a shot, it was at 1 texel per unit, but some spots were a bit thin, thanks, Ill let you know how it goes

Can confirm, it was because the edges were too close together for the light to project properly, I increased the distance between the floor planes and it projects well now. Increasing the resolution, or intensity or giving it more lightmap space all did not work
