Realtime Shadows Weirdness

Can someone explain the effect I’m seeing here? Video is below.

I am generating meshes procedurally and then applying real-time shadows from a lightsource (which is in a constant position). As you can see in the video, the shadows are weird. You would think that shadows from the terrain are just shadows and as someone moves around those shadows shouldn’t change, unless they’re from them, yet, they change.

Any ideas? Why would those areas in front of me be getting darker just because I moved? It looks like a performance thing based around where the camera is located.

That is probably because of shadow distance. you can change it in Edit>Project Settings>Quality Settings.
Or maybe your editor quality setting is set to low.
