Rearranging objects Relative to user

I’m trying to make a selection system where you cast a ray on a pile of objects and arrange them in a row around the player. Any thoughts on how exactly to do this? The one added wrinkle is I’m trying to do this in VR using the Steam VR Camera Rig, but I’d appreciate any sort of thoughts.

I think my reading comprehension is pretty low today, so I’m having trouble understanding the question.

So you have a pile of objects in front of you, and when you point and click at it with a VR controller, you want the objects to animate/fly into a ring around the player?
