I have been making something different…well different as far as Unity projects are. It’s an app to generate recipes based on what you have inside of your home pantry. You just put in what you have at home and it does some calculations and BOOM! You get recipes to make. It’s still pretty early in development but I just wanted to get some feedback on the look at feel of it.
You can also upload your own recipe and create a user name to save your ingredients and be able to use it on your phone/PC/tablets.

- Search bar to quickly navigate through the recipes/ingredients

Added in some backend stuff to not allow recipes to be added into the recipe DB until they have been approved. This should keep down the number of people who would put in random stuff just because they can. Also added in the user who uploaded it for future use when we make profile pages.

Were hoping that our app will generate enough users to want to add their own recipes that we don’t have to write them all in myself. Thanks for the name ideas imaginaryhuman.
We updated the app
- Now there is a search-ish bar on the side of the pantry list to quickly navigate through all the ingredients. It’s pretty much how iOS does it in the contacts section.
- We also made it so you can now drop items from your pantry in the ingredients menu and you don’t have to switch over to “My Pantry” to remove items.
- A feedback section was added into the settings menus, to give us an ingredient to add or just tell us how much you love the app.
- Some other bug fixes and wait to load all recipes before login is now a thing.
- Snazy new UI…still need to find a UI guy to help out
- 45 new ingridents added in
