Recommended poly count still up to date?

What is the currently suggested vert count per frame ?

I know people say max 10k but since then there have been some progress, updates, etc…

Is that number still valid ?

I think I had about 14k with no probs with a low drawcall… although for me, I have more trouble staying in a low Drawcall range than poly numbers.

This number has varied for me depending on number of skinned versus static polys.

ok, so for arguments sake, lets say we have a scene where all objekts are moving and one where everything is static

is it 14k for static

and 7k for moving

and if we say moving , do we mean unity moved or skinned move by 1 bone (if there is a big difference)

Those numbers don’t mean much. You really need to test on the target device to get a sense of how your scene performs.
