So the question is… 
what tool do you guys use for recording the great result of your unity work, in fullscreen or window, to a video format ?
preferably in HD
preferably a a fps greater than 5
preferably with a free recording tool

I personally use FRAPS on Windows and ScreenFlow on the Mac and both seem to work nicely for me. Neither are free although both can be trialled before you have to pay out.
You can try ScreenRecorder it works on MacOSX (Editor and Player) and iOS. For Mac you can use for free just download evaluation version. Hope it helped.

Now it’s a better program than Fraps with the new version
I did buy Camtasia Studio last year after I did look to many program.
It do cost money, but its very very good.
There is other software you can do it with, but many do just record your screen and you are still left with the editing, that you need other software for.
But Camtasia Studio has it all. All videos I make I use this.
You will decide how many FPS you want to record and then you also decide how the video shall be in the end.
Like what format and quality.
