Record Video on iOS Unity app

Is it possible to record video from an Unity iOS app?

There are several ways to record the game playing in the editor, but others will have to recommend them as I have found none that give smooth frame rates on my 4-year-old iMac. There is a script on the Unify wiki for capturing the frames individually that you can put together to make the video, but I only heard of that recently and haven’t tried it.

Last time I just recorded the game playing on my iPad using my iPhone 4.

How did you record iPad gameplay on your iPhone?

I used the iPhone video camera pointed at the iPad.

It isn’t ideal, but I find the screen capture software I tried for capturing the game playing in Unity runs at far too low a frame rate to be useable.

My iPhone video camera had trouble with the high contrast, so the graphics appear too bright. I will make sure I have iOS 5 loaded next time I make a video as exposure can be set.

Here is the video I took: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YUTq-xx9YA
