Recording animation suddenly stops out of nowhere.

I just don’t know what is causing this.

So basically , sometimes there are ‘do not touch me items, or the animation recording will stop’ in the Hierarchy for a reason that i just don’t understand. In this case ,clicking on the chain leather outfit in the hierarchy will cause the animation to stop, but if during the animation recording i for instance would click on the Bunny Maid outfit, the animation recording will just continue. I am puzzled/baffled as why touching a certain item in the hierarchy would cause the animation to stop. I can’t find anything special or an outstanding difference as to why or what would be causing this. because the recording doesn’t work i have to add everything manually. Does anyone have a guess as to what could be causing this sudden stop of the animation recording?

Hi, the Animations Window follows your active selection in the Hierarchy or the Project Window. You can “lock” your the Animation Window to the current selection with a toggle on the top-right:

I mean i’m very happy with the answer, it solves my problem. But i can’t shake the feeling of still not understanding what is going on at a mechanical level. When recording the animation i can click several items in the hierarchy without it stopping the animation, but when i click the ‘chain’ clothes set it stops. Why is it not recognized as something that i want to add to the animation, why does it stop?
