In previous versions of Unity, any assets from the project view that I deleted ended up in my Recycle Bin so I could restore them if I made a mistake. In Unity 5, they just seem to disappear. Has anyone else experienced this problem or know how to fix it?
IMPORTANT!
I just found this trick that works when you delete something from inside unity.
Go the the folder that your deleted object came from.
right click and click either properties or RESTORE PREVIOUS VERSIONS and click on the earlier version that windows automatically saved.
