I have a Unity project but i made the mistake of not backing up the .unity files on my documents folder to the new computer i have. Everything from assets, scripts, materials and models were backed up but i forgot the essential.
When you go to open an existing Unity project, you do not give it the path of a “.Unity” file, you give it the path of the folder that contains your “Assets” folder. A “.Unity” file is a scene, so judging by what you said, you probably lost all of your Unity scenes, but none of your scripts, models, etc.
Gambit, i did opened the folder where my project is but i’ve lost the scene files. Everything else was kept, that is why i’m trying to find out if there is a workaround to join everything back into a scene.
i guess your project temp folder is also empty then…
it can contain scenes sometimes (although seems to empty it if close unity normally)
