I’m trying to recreate a shader from a breakdown I found - however, the breakdown is not a complete tutorial, just a general overview of the steps they took to produce a certain shader. The other issue is that this shader was developed in Unreal, which I have no experience in.
Here’s the breakdown:

I’ve made good progress, recreating the texture in Substance Designer (seemingly successfully) and mapped out some nodes in a Shader Graph - but I am having difficulty connecting all the “pieces” from the various screenshots in the breakdown, and there seem to be several custom nodes that they created which I have limited context for.
Of course, I’m not looking for someone to recreate it for me - but I’m posting to see if anyone could point me in the right direction or give any advice. Thank you!
(will also post screenshots of my current shader progress after work later - just wanted to get this post out there during my lunch)
