Referencing a Prefab in Event Trigger


I would like to have a Button’s Event Trigger trigger a function inside of a prefab GameObject. (In this case it is a reset function on my DataSaver Singleton)

It seems like you can assign a prefab as a reference in the event trigger, but when I Debug.Log it it doesn’t seem to be activating.

Any help/work arounds are super duper appreciated! Ty!

What I ended up doing is similar to what hexagonius said in the comment to the OP.

I ended up extending from the event trigger in a script attached to the button. Extending from Event Trigger. Then using my singleton’s static reference to itself to call the function. How I’m doing singletons.
