Reflection of camera in water

This might be a very stupid question with a very simple answer, but I cannot seem to figure this one out so I’m willing to risk being humiliated :smile:

When I place a Water prefab from the Pro Standard Assets on my scene I get a strange spherical reflection of white from what seems to be the camera. I have no meshes or anything that might reflect anything attached to the camera. I currently use a modified OrbitCam script and the sphere reflection follows me around.

Any ideas on what this might be? As previously stated I have nothing on my scene except a water prefab and a camera.

How odd… are you sure you don’t have a sphere attached to your camera?

I believe this is purely an issue of scale distance from camera… it is also Night-time water, so the specular effect you are seeing is part of the overall effect… try attaching an orbit camera and getting in really close to the water

My project needs to have the camera at these heights and even higher. Any idea on how to remove this effect?

Hate to bump anything, but this I wonder if anyone has an answer to this.
