Refraction shader breaks cameras

I have a refraction shader being used in my game. When the object is created, the camera breaks: in the IDE glow is disabled, but in the Webplayer it seems to almost stop rendering entirely, aside from text meshes.

Webplayer is at http://lastbastiongames.com/CastlesGame.html - the card Stassis is the one that creates the effect that breaks stuff.

Any thoughts? Has anyone used the refraction shader successfully in 2.0?
