Can anyone tell me how long do refund tickets usually take to solve? I have purchased an asset from the Unity assets store, but instead of being billed once for it, I got billed 3 times because the page wasn’t processing the payment the first tries. So I have contacted support and it’s been like two weeks with no answer for me, even though they have oppened the ticked. I have provided all the possible billing details and checks.
I wouldn’t be so anxious, but it was all our money for the project and we still need to buy a few assets and we’re running out of time…
Has anyone ever experienced an issue like this? How long did it take to receive your money back?
Have you tried contacting the author of the asset you bought 3 times?
Afaik asset store publishers can schedule refunds. No need to involve Unity support.
Edit:
Check if you have bought ‘3 seats’ worth of that asset. If that is not the case, i would phone up the Unity representative for your region and complain there.
Publishers can’t issue refunds. They can only email Unity to request Unity to issue the refund. However, it’s worth trying what DaDonik suggests. Maybe the publisher will have better luck with their email to Unity.
Interesting, i just tried finding a phone number, but i failed.
To be fair, it was 7 years ago when i had a sales rep on the phone. I guess the engine outgrew ‘direct phone access’.
