Howdy folks,
My package was rejected with the following note. It wasn’t very specific:
Hi there,
Thanks very much for your submission to the Asset Store.
Please insure that all of your project is under a root folder. This way when customers are importing your package into their project it doesn’t clutter up their project or interfere with anything.
Kind regards,
The Asset Store Team
I thought that is exactly what I did. I do have sub-directories for organizational reasons, perhaps that is not good? I’m a bit of an organizing freak so I certainly want it to be correct, here is a screen cap of how I laid it out. Any thoughts would be mighty helpful. I figure it’s something simple and I can just re-up today. Thanks.
You probably need to have a root folder to host all of those sub-folder in, instead of having them reside directly under “Assets”. So you’d make a folder named after your company and / or product, and then put all the sub-folders into that folder.
That way users won’t mix their own assets with the assets provided in your package.
Thanks… that’s exactly it. Funny, I scratched my head since last night, then literally I was about to mow, and it hit me. Not Their Root folder.
Thanks for the confirmation and your time, I appreciate it.

No problem, I’ve had a few “duh”-moments myself lately
