[Release] Nine To Five

This is my first project, and also my first work in a variety of disciplines including 3d modeling, animation, and game development, so the presentation of this game is rather basic.

What is Nine to Five? To put it simply, it’s a work simulator, born from various reflections on the nature of games.

The Game Over
In most games, once the player fails a task or “dies”, the game world resets, placing the player back at the beginning. Here, objects and characters persist beyond death, and death itself contributes to the appearance of new elements.

Morality, Risk and Reward
In games that feature morality systems, there are rewards for good behavior as well as rewards for bad behavior. With a lack of tangible consequences, game players find it easy to choose immorality and reap the rewards. Without such rewards, will players tend towards making safer choices, or is there something inherently more fun about violence?

The game is available for Windows and Mac, and is available at

Interesting concept for a game although the low quality of the graphics and the lack of sound kept me interested for more than a few minutes.
I got to the point where I started punching the guy who punches back, that was about it.
