Thanks for your reply . I now did some further tests and it seems to work consistently with Force audio input device = 3 I had not checked that before as I did not know how many audio inputs the Quest 3 has
Hi, thanks for the great asset - it works really well!
Just had a couple of minor questions/requests related to audio:
- When capturing a video with Microphone audio, is there currently any way to introduce a delay to the audio feed? And if not, may I request that as a feature in a future release?
The project I’m working on includes a webcam texture, and I’ve noticed that in the videos I’ve captured using AVPro, the microphone audio is out of sync with the webcam texture - usually the audio is around 200ms ahead of the corresponding webcam texture, so a setting to offset or delay the audio capture would be incredibly useful.
- Is there currently any way to record Microphone and Unity audio simultaneously? And again if not, may I also request that as a feature please?
I’ve tried a few different setups, but my attempts have all resulted either in the user hearing them-self (which is incredibly off-putting), or in critical audio buffer exceptions.
.
Again, overall it’s a great asset - thanks for your hard work!
Michael
Hi, I bought the Asset (Mobile edition) and cannot figure out how to upgrade my existing project from the trial version. I did what is written in the documentation: “Open your project and proceed to the next step immediately without running the scene or clicking on any AVPro Movie Capture components. <…> If updating from the Unity Asset Store, simple select the new version to import. <…> If prompted to upgrade some scripts click Yes.” While importing, there is no prompt to upgrade any scripts. When I look at the Movie Capture window it still says Trial Version. I even tried to delete the entire PlugIns/Renderheads folder from my project and still after importing and creating a new Capture from Camera component, the Movie Capture window says “Trial version.” Any advice or a detailed step by step guide on how to do it would be highly appreciated. I am using Unity 2022.3.19f1. Thanks a lot!
Hi @mw2357
If you’re using the Mobile Edition, then in editor it will say trial and be watermarked. Have you tried it on a mobile device? The watermark should be gone on those.
Kind regards,
Chris
