In the game, supple hair is amazing. NVIDIA and amd have their own hair technology, I tried to implement a real hair simulation plugin in unity with reference to the technology in gpu gems2. It simulates a lot of hair dynamics and uses an anisotropic illumination model to achieve good results.

Due to the advanced features such as tessellation, it is currently not possible to run on mobile platforms and needs to be run on the PC side.

Note that because real hair needs art coordination to have a better performance, art needs to provide a scalp model and hair vertices. The root of the vertices of the hair must coincide with the vertices of the scalp. I also provide a tool to automatically generate some hairstyles, but it is best to let the art be provided, so that the effect will be more outstanding.

I bought it and saved this for later, currently i’m still using andris deprecated Hair Tool with my own bug fixes as far Unity engine allows me i will stay on that. But the current price is just a eye catcher:hushed:. Good luck with this Project.

Does this work on mac? Curious if it’s been tested with the Metal API (doesn’t seem to work for me)
