[RELEASED] Cave & Dungeon Toolkit V2

You can find the package here: Cave & Dungeon Toolkit | 3D Dungeons | Unity Asset Store

Hello. My Unity Asset Store package, the Cave & Dungeon Toolkit, has received a major update. For a long time, the package has been incompatible with newer versions of Unity and the Scriptable Render Pipelines. Now, with version 2 of this asset, I have sought to address these issues as well as update the package with additional content and quality of life fixes.

These assets now work with all the render pipelines, including HDRP, URP and the Built-in Render Pipeline. These changes are powered by a full shift to Unity’s ShaderGraph. Not only can you now dig into the shader source graphs and modify them to better fit your project if you desire, but this should also ensure compatibility into the future, assuming (hopefully correctly) that Unity continues to maintain ShaderGraph.

If you purchased this package in the past, this is a free update!

The example scenes have been updated to use HDRP and given a more modern polish. Here’s some comparisons of the previous version (V1) and this current update (V2).

Hi @ChaosWWW the pack looks very neat, I’m curious about your vertex influence system. I’d like to explore its usage and adapt it as a general non destructive workflow to vertex paint. Now I could implement something myself but I’d be pleased if you could openly share this bit. I shall ofc contribute my adaptation.

I’m curious again, are you baking the change or is it all done runtime ?

Thanks for your answer !
