But for the Themes, I found no sort of, defining music. No tune that gets stuck in your head, and makes you think of “that” thing. Like the Elder Scrolls or Zelda theme.
Also, are open to commissions for private music for a project?
Thankyou both for the compliment and the feedback. Writing a truly memorable theme is the ultimate goal for the budding game composer.
And yes, I am very much open for commissions! Send me an email and we can discuss it (although I can’t get back to you tonight, it’s very late over here).
Got some really nice stuff here. Well made and smartly presented music with a lot of emotion and depth to it. Loved the use of less conventional instruments too - they worked a lot better than I would have normally expected.
As for the really well-defined themes I think there’s a fine line here though. On one hand you can’t have the music be too generic for fear of it becoming bland, where on the other hand and you can’t have it stick in your head or stand out too well for fear it becomes too niche oriented to actually be useful for people, or otherwise too obvious if several games use it. I think you trod the line pretty well personally.
