[RELEASED] Destructible Props Pack

Hello!
I am glad to present you my asset - Destructible Props Pack!

60% OFF till the end of July!

Unity 5 PBR version released!

More screenshots on Asset Store Page.

This pack contains 37 high quality objects. All 3d models have albedo, specular with roughness and normal maps (textures resolution from 10241024pix to 40964096pix). Every object is breakable and can be broken by two ways: by falling and by the weapon. All objects have sound and particle fx. All models and shaders from this pack also can be used in mobile projects and both Unity 5 Pro and Unity 5 Free.

Also each object has flexible adjustments: strength, health (for destruction by weapon), explosion force, break by click, disappearing chunks by timer.

I’ll be very happy if you leave a review!

Hello, I have found this and think that is very good and well done, interesting and useful, specially the explosive box shown here above.

Can I replace the materials for different ones? I mean that to make the wooden boxes with metal texture that I already have instead of the wood.

Please, can you be so kind to tell me how would I be able to use my own weapons to be able to destroy these objects you have created?

I mean what is needed to have so this destructible objects can be broken

I am using the weapons included in the Sci Fi Effects asset https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/20416

I also own the DestroyIT asset that maybe I can use your prefactured objects with this asset https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/18811

Thanks for any help

Best wishes

@SpaceRay , Hi!
In my destruction script I basically use destruction by collision events, but in my script I have a destruction function that you can call from other script, for example, from your weapon raycast script and it will be works :slight_smile:

About materials: yes, you can replace if you want, but you need have a new texture for this.

And the last thing: this package is published now just for Unity 4.x, it has no PBR materials still. But I already finished PBR materials and some new textures and I will upload this update soon.
You can buy this pack for $12 now, but after update it will be cost $25.

Thanks for your answer, I have bought this today and will see what I can do and how it works

I just want to let you know that I get this error message when trying to use the demo scenes using Unity 5 that may be easy to fix and not a problem but think that these could be updated and fixed in the next update

Non-convex MeshColliders with non-kinematic Rigidbodies are no longer supported in Unity 5.0.

Best Regards

@SpaceRay , hi!
Thank you!
It is already fixed in Unity 5 version, and soon will be available on the store, then you can update it and get new textures for some models, PBR ready materials and pick up & drop system :slight_smile:

Unity 5 version of Destructible Props already available on the Unity Asset Store!

Wanted to say I really like this pack, except for the exploding barrel. It just doesn’t hold up compared to the rest of the destructible props.
You asked about suggestions in the other thread but I didn’t see it til today. One you may consider if you update this pack again. It would be great if there were a couple variations to the screen cracks when the tv/computers get broke. And it would also be cool if this could somehow be raycasted so where the player points to on the screens, that’s where the break spider webs out from.
Sorry I was late to reply. But though if you ever update these can be taken into consideration.

Overall quality work as always.
