[RELEASED] EasyTalk Dialogue System

Hey everybody, I recently released my asset, EasyTalk Dialogue System! :hushed:

I initially started creating this system because frankly, every other dialogue system out there seems to be overly complex, hard to set up, and not intuitive when trying to write branching dialogue. So I figured there had to be a better way, and I think I’ve created it, while also making something that’s very flexible and customizable, extendable, and powerful.

EasyTalk allows you to write branching dialogue via a powerful, well-designed node editor. You can easily include all kinds of logic as part of the dialogue itself, and even trigger your own scripts during dialogue playback. Not only can EasyTalk be used for normal dialogue, but it can be used for cutscenes, speech bubbles, tutorial systems, or even just building game logic.

The UI system also offers a lot of flexibility, with many different styles and layouts included, as well as a system built to make it easier to customize things if you don’t want to manually change sprites and fonts yourself. Also included with EasyTalk are many different sprites, stripe patterns and gradients, decorative frame elements, and many different OFL licensed fonts to make customization even easier.

EasyTalk also supports over 130 languages, and includes font fallbacks for each of the supported languages, as well as a very simple way of switching the language during runtime from code. It also provides robust, but simple, localization features for importing and exporting CSV files, and even a one-click automatic translation feature using Google Cloud services!

EasyTalk is also very well documented, as you can see here.

While there are several other dialogue systems on the asset store, all of which have their merits, I am confident that you will find this one to be your favorite due to the workflow, flexibility, and powerful features!

I also try to help everyone with any questions or issues they have as fast as I can, whether that be fixing a bug, just helping explain something, or giving detailed breakdowns of how a unique problem can be solved.

If you want to check it out, you can do so here!

Thank you for checking out this post, and thank you very much for your support!!!

Side note: Today I received an email demanding ransom or someone is going to pirate it, so I really appreciate all the support I can get :frowning:

Primarily don’t respond to anyone asking for a (free) voucher for your asset. That’s the ones that get your asset listed on pirated asset sites.

I have learned that lesson now. I gave one person a free voucher because they said they were poor. Stupid me :frowning:
