Moving shadows across your world can certainly enhance the atmosphere. And a simple way to do that is with Gimme Cloud Shadows. It works by using global shader variables, which are changed by a controller script.
There are then multiple variants of the shader, that can be used for different setups.
More particularily, you can use this asset either as an Image/Postprocess Effect, a Shadowcaster (with dithering) or modify the color of your Materials directly (for best quality).
Moreover, there is also a procedural texture generator included, that can create fluid animated shadows (3D Textures) using different noises.
