[RELEASED] Imagine WebAR Image Tracker for Unity WebGL

Hello I bought your Imagine Webar Image plugin at Unity, I liked it a lot, but I have a need to make a video run on a cube, but it doesn’t work, it’s a small .mp4 file, I’ve tried everything to The video works when the image is tracked, can you help me?

It seems you have to use URL for video instead of using videoclip…

Hello. I am interested in the app but would like to clarify some things.

  • How small can a marker be for reliable tracking? How stable would a business card be for example? Could high contrast/clear images help with smaller markers?
  • If you add world tracking to work with image tracking (so the camera can leave the marker but not lose the tracking) I assume this would require purchase of the world tracking asset? Do you have any idea when this would be possible?
  • Do the assets work in Unity 6 already, if not will they be upgraded to be compatible?

Thankyou for your time!

When opened in Chrome on an Android device, the layout appears shifted downwards.

AR tracking runs well when the camera moves, but the AR position is not updated when the target image moves in reality. What should I do?

Hi guys, I am considering purchasing the Imagine WebAR - Image Tracker package and would like to clarify a couple of details regarding its features

1.Does the package support QR code reading in addition to image tracking?
2.Is it possible to set the target image dynamically through an online source (e.g., a URL) and spawn content accordingly at runtime?

Thankyou for your time!

Hello and thank you for your inquiries:

  • We don’t include QR reading in our plugin (yet), but you should be able to implement it with zxing in Unity. Other devs were able to achieve it. We’ll look into officially integrating it to our plugin in the future
  • Dynamic imagetarget compilation is also not officially supported by our plugin, but other devs were able to achieve it. More info in this Discord post: Discord

We have 2 tracking modes:

  1. Camera Origin - where the camera stays at the origin, and your image target moves around it.
  2. First Target Origin - where the “first” image target stays at the origin, and the camera (as well as all other imagetargets) moves around it.

You can set your desired tracking mode in your imagetracker inspector. Hope this helps.
