So this mean, this asset is pure mobile asset, since PC standard is far, far higher above mobile. Compatible with mobile = mobile, unfortunately. Having same version for PC as for mobile is not an option.
It is very hard to make asset that is both HD & compatible for mobile.
Compatible Mobile often means optimizing unwraps and atlases textures. Textures are already in 2048x2048 atlas. The gain would be minimal if we passed them in 4096 X 4096.
To get a true HD version, it would rather atlas 1 per house.
But do you really think the PC is made of poor quality?
Honestly this is not quality for PC. But for mobile it is great. Typical approach is to prepare LOD0 version for PC, all texture maps, high res, high poly, dont use (!!!) atlases to be able to use tiled textures and detail textures and then prepare LOD1+, low poly, with atlases and such LOD1 can be used for mobile.
Honestly, this pack is at 20$, other publisher, create different pack (PC Pack, Mobile pack ) each one at 40 opr 60$ , someone indicates that there 2 types, but it is not HD, and there no Hi res texture, simply texture altas resize
Otherwise, itβs possible, but it would not be $20. We never said it was an HD pack.
