Updated to be 100% Unity5 compatible

Hey i have looked at both these islands before (thinking about buying) but the web demo appears to be down and the main thing i want to know is how big the islands are?

Hi, I´ve updated the link, it works now. Run into some trouble, when changing the provider some time ago
and I have to fix a few things. Website will be re-launched and much more responsive and interactive, soon!

The demo is the same as for “Foot Island”. There is no big difference, because of same textures, etc.
But to get a feel for the terrain, it will do.

Size of the island - well, it can be any size, you like, because it can be scaled.
I do not know the exact scale of it, to be honest - but I will take a look, when I return to my PC
(I am on the road right now)

Cheers!

Sorry for the late reply - got on chance to check it until next week (Monday)
AFAIR, I designed the islands like 100x100km, detail wise… But for the exact px/m ratio
, I have to check the original files

Ok, so I´ve found out: Island was in deed created 100x100km with 98m/px detail-scale ratio.
In Unity the heightfield is 2049x2049px res, with the smallest brush you could manipulate 2px afaik…

So the island is - well “a bigger scale”, which is best supported with some additional detail-meshes and so on, if you wish.
Depends, on how you want to use it for.

I suggest you take a look at the web-demo, to get a feel for it.

Kind Regards
