Hi,
I’ve started working on my next pack - scanned logs
Based on real-life objects, will give you more realistic feel to your projects.
I took photos with studio lighting, so it’s already PBR-ready and full 3D scan
I’m not sure how many I’ll make. I guess polycount of assets will be around 5k with LODs

Amazing… Well done… Photogrammetry isn’t that easy to achieve, but the result impressive if done right.

Most impressive… How do you actually do a 360 Photogrammetry? Because the log isn’t on air obviously. Do you repair the mesh afterwards?

@BlackJonima I won’t reveal too much, but I can say I’m using semi-professional photographic studio with greenscreen And yes, there’s a lot of work after mesh generation like retopology/decimation, UV mapping to make it more efficient

I’ve made 5 logs so far as game assets, in total there will be 10 and it will cost 15$ (so it’s 1,5$ per log, seems reasonable to me). You can also rotate them vertically and use them as cut tree stump. Each log has two different sides, which gives you a lot of possibilites to enrich your environment
I’ll probably include one logs pile prefab to show possibilities
