Im pleased to announce Real Drift, a realistic drifting game based on UnityCar vehicle physic package, available from Dember 12, 2013 on Google Play.

ADVANCED POINT SYSTEM:
Points grow proportionally to drift angle (visually showed by the arrow behind the car), speed and drift time.
There are also 2 different points multiplier: “Drift Combo” multiplier and “Proximity” multiplier.
Drift Combo multiplier is increased by 1 when points reach 1000. If you change drift direction points are added to Total Points Indicator (located in the top left of the screen) and reset. if points reach 1000 again, Drift Combo is increased by 1 again, and so on. This works only if you keep drifting without too long interruptions between one drift and the other (less than 1 second), otherwise Drift Combo multiplier will be reset to 1.
Proximity multiplier is increased when you drift with the back of the car near a wall (less than 1.5 meters) proportionally to closeness. You’ll notice this bonus with a slow motion effect and a text showing the multiplier factor.
If you hit anything you’ll loose your partial points and all multipliers.
WHAT DOES IT MEANS “DRIFTING”?
Drifting is a driving technique where the driver oversteers, causing loss of traction in the rear wheels or all tires, while maintaining control from entry to exit of a corner. A car is drifting when the rear wheels are slipping more than the front wheels, to such an extent that often the front wheels are pointing in the opposite direction to the turn (e.g. car is turning left, wheels are pointed right or vice versa). Drifting involves fast cars, skilled drivers and hardcore fans.
Drifting competitions are held worldwide and are judged according to the speed, angle, showmanship and line taken through corners.
Accelerometer (gyroscope) steering mode: You did edit steering mode with Accelerometer on CarController of UnityCar or only on MobileCarController script ?

I have a question: I noticed you’re using real brands / cars, how did you get the licenses for those? Or did you just use them without worrying? I’m just curious as I was thinking of building a car game as well, but this is a big problem to me…
Hello, we didn’t use real brands, only names. We are thinking about this and probably in the next update we will change car names to avoid any possible consequence.
How you doing new life,I actually signed up to these forums after playing this game on my Nvidi Shield I must admit as a current real life drifter and simulator drifter this is one of my top drift Sims on mobile handles nice a d looks great however on the nvidia shield we have the game mapper to map the touch screen buttons to the physical and for so.e reason the gyroscope mapper does not work on this game everything I can map but that.is it possible you can update that or better yet can you add the option of touchscreen button steering so we can map to that I think it will be a lot easier like that if the full release has that I will buy it.PS.would love the 240sx hatch in it.

UnityCar 3.0 is planned for release in january 2014 (a little postponed do to Real Drift release).
It will include drifting helper, NGUI dashboard, a full mobile demo and other amenities.
Race mechanics (race manager, menu manager, persistent data manager and other stuff) will be included in UnityCar Enterprise.
