Unity Studios and Nisl Games launched Space Heads for Windows Phone during the Holidays!
The game is described as a fun packed Manga-inspired spaceship runner. It gives the player more dimension of moving up and down and side-flipping, instead of just right, left, center. It’s beautifully done, addictive and tells a story about four young friends sharing a passion for racing spaceships. You choose a pilot and complete missions by flying through tunnels filled with gems, collectables and dangerous obstacles. The game invites the player to become a part of the team, and try beating the high scores.
The game was first made for iOS (not released), but was portet for Windows Phone. Easy with Unity

Nice, what’s your perspective on developing for mobile devices? I’ll put that in context. Do you find its easier to restrict movement and have a defined track or path for PCs to follow? Would seem to lend a certain logic to the game where an NPC would also have less variables and more constants to obey.
We have predefined 3x3 grid points which we interpolate between so we have a very simple method of controlling our ships. I guess that would work well for NPCs as well, but we don’t have any plans for NPCs as of yet
@TheRaider: The reason we came out on windows phone first was that we could see a market potential for a new runner at the time, but new runners have been released since that. An iOS version is definitely on the list.
