Are you tired of plain old no-detailed Cartoon Shaders? I sure am! I have been rigorously working on this new set of 12 toon shaders. Technically six (two for each type) ones with outlines and ones without.

This set of shaders will now allow you to use normal maps, specular maps, rim lighting, rim lighting + specular maps (for different effects), I also included basic toon shaders as well for all of you who still prefer the old fashioned shading.

As of right now UniTOON - Ultra supports the following below —

Regular basic toon with normal maps with outline
Regular basic toon with normal maps without outline
Normals + specular map toon with outline and color control (to blend colors and spec colors better).
Normals + specular map toon without outline and color control.
Rim toon with normals with outline
Rim toon with normals without outline
Rim specular map + normals with outline
Rim specular map + normals without outline
Basic toon ramp with outline
Basic toon ramp without outline
Basic toon rim lighting with outline
Basic toon rim lighting without outline

UniTOON - Ultra will continue to get better as I keep updating it. I do not believe it is mobile friendly (however, higher end phones such as the LG G3 do fine). I don’t want to promise lower end phones will work without more research into it.

(CAUTION) - Until next release, make sure your project has DirectX 11 turned off! Edit > Project Settings > Player > Other Settings.

I have submitted Version 1.4 to the asset store.

Minor Bug fixes.

1.4 Revision.

Fixed a big in the Specular Toon Shaders that produces a random error upon build of game.
This error didn’t appear to be a problem during run time that I noticed.
But the build error is now fixed.

Also added 4 different ramps to be used for your Toon Ramps.
Two different kinds, but made two of each just encase you want a different ramp.

(Waiting for submission to be accepted) - I will let everyone know when the update is accepted.

Hey guys, just letting you know it’s taking a little bit of time for Asset Store to accept the submission.

Revisions -

Fixed Compiler Errors (They didn’t appear to effect actual run time game play, but nevertheless I still got rid of them).

Added 4 Ramp textures to make transitioning easier for they who have never used Toon Shaders and not knowing what a Ramp Texture is.).
