[RELEASED] Vehicle Radio System v1.1

Unity Asset Store - The Best Assets for Game Making
Add tags StationIcon and TrackText to your tag manager. Assign StationIcon to StationImage and assign TrackText to text, both assigned under Canvas in the demo scene.

Based off a top selling Open World, Action Adventure video game, Vehicle Radio gives you the ability to have multiple music stations within a vehicle or game world, each with multiple tracks!

This system seamlessly switches between stations, allowing an always on feel. Switching to a new station won’t just start a new song at the beginning, it will be wherever it is up to, just like in real life!!

The system does not even have to be used in a vehicle! Want to use it to have switchable background music in your game world?? Not an issue!!

Features:
-Allows multiple stations to be assigned
-Each station can have multiple tracks
-All stations have a living feel! Want to move to another station? No problem, the new track will play. Want to then switch back? Cool! The old track will be further on, or even onto a new song, just like real life!!
-Song coming to an end? The station will automatically play the next track! All tracks played? No problem! The station will loop back to the first track and start again!
-GUI shows the station icon and track name when switching between stations, or track switching
-Volume can be changed within the system by key presses!
-Radio can be turned on and off, with the system remembering the station you had playing!

Any feedback is much appreciated.

For future updates I am looking to link songs to quest / mission completion as well as any requests.

I have created a web demo for any prospective buyers to have a play with:

Web Demo

Controls are:

Station Left: Num Pad Key 4
Station Right: Num Pad Key 6
Volume Up: Num Pad Key +
Volume Down: Num Pad Key -
Turn Off/On - Num Pad Key 8

Version 1.1 has been released onto the store and has the following:

-Added new scene containing character exiting and entering a vehicle. This allows you to see how I implement the radio functionality when the player is no longer within the vehicle

-Now remembers last station played and will start this station on load of game (demo scene) or when entering the car (new scene).

-Now remembers previous volume and sets accordingly.

-Bug fixes

Breaking changes:

-I have added ID to each station. This is required so the UI does not show when another station track is changing

-Tags. Added Vehicle tag (assigned in new scene to differentiate between player and vehicle)

I have created a demo of the new features, which can be found here (as well as in the video below):

Demo

To enter the vehicle, click f. To exit, click e.

Looks useful. I know this is a very old thread, but any idea if it works in 2019.1?

I want to buy your package.
