[RELEASED] "Vektor: The Courier" is an AKIRA / Blade Runner inspired run and slash action IOS game.

My first IOS game is released on Apple App Store. “Vektor” is a high-speed, intense runner-slasher game where you defend yourself with your sword while riding your motorbike on an infinite highway. Game utilizes classic “shmup” gameplay elements with melee action.

The game looks gorgeous! Love the trailer too! Great job @chkkll

I’ll be checking this on release! Looks really great!!!
P.S. There’s a typo in your release date, should probably be 29.10.2014

Thanks a lot everyone!
And thanks for the correction @Devil_Inside , the worst mistake to make:)

Awesome! I love the graphic style and the overall aesthetics.

Wow, nice trailer, are you going to release it on google play?. ( sorry for my english )

Tried it. Really cool graphics, but the gameplay is kind of bland… Decent for a free game though! I appreciate that there’s absolutely no IAP, which to be honest is quite rare these days.

I like the look and the music for the trailer was great.

Ill check it out dude, I like the Look

I like it and hope that game will be for android also

Thanks a lot guys!
hopefully there will be an Android version…

Awesome looking stuff! Downloading now.

Really love the visual elements of the game… One question:
Did you use Bloom at all on the lighting or are you just using standard lighting/shaders? I’m trying to get a bloom effect on my particle system atm, with no luck since Unity Free doesn’t offer Bloom…

Thanks!
There is no bloom. I used painted UV’s and unlit shaders, check the image:1841166--118104--buildingTxt.jpg all lighting, bloom and ground fog are painted…
I don’t know what kind of look you are after for your particles, but you can always use “pre-bloomed in photoshop” textures for faking it, also cheaper performance wise

Hmm, I’ll have to look into that. I’m just now starting to research the VFX side of development. I come from a mostly programming background. Thanks for the tip!!
