Releasing a unity licence on a PC that can't talk to the internet

Hi,

Our company has a proxy server that unity can’t seem to get through. I’m moving to a new machine and would like to remove the license from this machine. I have serial number etc. and was wondering if there was a way to remove the machine from the license.

Drop an email to support@unity3d.com from the account associated with the license, and they should be able to help.

You can easily return your license by going to Manage License → Return License (Manage your license | Unity Hub | 3.0). You are then free to use your serial on another machine.

I go manage license - > return license and click yes -then unity does nothing. I can still do “pro” things … like create a LOD and add Bloom to the camera?

ANy way to tell that returning has worked ?

Have you still got the dark theme? That’s the clearest indicator.

If that doesn’t work, and all you need to do is get a connection through your proxy server working, try this: http://blog.gfx47.com/2011/03/08/unity3d-httphttps-proxy-problem-solved-o/
