To have your company listed on the app store instead of your name do you have to form an LLC or is there a less expensive way?
Yes, you need to have a registered company of some sort (in the US LLC, LLP, S-Corp, C-Corp) etc, and you have to enroll in the Developer Program as the company (as opposed to an individual). You also have to have a bank account in the company’s name to receive payment from Apple. If you do a quick Google search, Apple explains all that is required and how to proceed.

Might depend where you’re registering but where I registered my company was actually way cheaper than the Apple developer program subscription cost.
