Hi there, I use blender to make my 3d models (2.5, and yes the save-load thing does work when the import script is altered, Ive got the link to the forum post explaining it somewhere and can find it if someone wants), and would love if unity saved the frames for my split animations whenever i reloaded the model. Is this possible?

Thanks,
Aralox

I think you’re not doing it in the right way! I recently finished a project with a truly absurd number of animations for the main Player character, and I had to update the animation file about once every week for almost 8 months. At the end it would’ve been a days work or so just to add all the existing frames back in every time I got a new set of frames from my animator, so I’m really glad this has never been a problem for me.

Whenever you add a new animation, don’t try to add the file directly into Unity- copy it over the existing file in the ‘assets’ folder of your project, and then when you go back to Unity it’ll automatically reimport it, saving your frame data!
