Hello everyone !
I am facing an issue I can not resolve for month. I am designing a voxel game and I need to have a lot of tree in my scene. I am using the unity terrain.
I tried all the shaders available for “nature” in Unity to have billboarding trees and being able to have a lot of tree in the distance. But none of these shader render my trees correctly, because they are designed for real 3D trees.
The color of my trees are strange with those. Furthermore, my billboarding trees are doing some strange things in the distance with the fog, either they are in or out of the fog but none of them is really rendering correctly. This is drawing strange line in the distance. My trees are also poping out of the fog which is terrible.
How can I solve this ? Is there any “nature” shader I could use that is made for my kind of tree ?
