Replacing a specific material on an object with multiple materials?

I have an object with multiple materials made in Maya. Unity imports it and creates the different materials automatically. I have made my own materials in Unity. When I drag that material onto the object, it replaces the first material assigned to the object.

I can’t figure out how to replace the other materials. Any ideas?

find your object in the file browser, look at it’s sub meshes, they should have different materials for each submesh. read all this:
