ReplayKit detect preview controller finished

Currently the Unity ReplayKit integration does not allow us to detect when the preview controller has been dismissed or alternatively that a preview controller is currently active. We need this functionality to pause/unpause parts of the app while the preview controller is active.

Xamarin and the Prime31 plugin supports this in their implementations, I assume simply through a callback from their implementation of previewControllerDidFinish, but it would be better if we could get this same functionality through the Unity integration rather than have to switch to a plugin to get this.

Can this functionality be added to the Unity integration?

Alternatively, is there another way we can simply detect whether the preview controller is active?

I too am having to deal with this issue. Watching the preview doesn’t pause the game audio, so I need to turn it off and then on when the preview is complete. I was using Prime31 but wanted to move to integrated due to the simpler configuration, but now have no way of knowing when to resume game audio.

Did you find any solution to this in the end? I’ve spent a few hours now trying to find a workaround but have not been successful. Seems like a pretty fundamental piece of functionality that is missing here.
