Report A Bug Window, When Trying To Open Scene

Any clues, tips on why a level, when selected to load via the Project Panel, would not load and in fact cause the “Report A Bug” window to appear?

Thanks

Hi Guys,
I am bumping this,
Why would, when a double click on a scene, in the project panel, to open, that it would crash Unity itself? I have a few levels, that I had built, but kind of put on the side for a while. I have gone back to them and half of them crash Unity.

The only reason I can think of is that these levels contain prefabs that were deleted. Is that possible? Is there anything that I can do to access these levels? Do you have any suggestions to relieve this?

Thanks

No one?

seems nobody here ,hey guy. same situation for mine question.
however your problem was not happening on me. i use windows version. do you use mac unity3d?

Yes, I have a Mac.
Big bummer at the moment. It is a weeks worth of material I can’t access. I am lucky I back up my projects, as an older version may allow entrance.

Without testing, I am thinking it is because the scenes most likely contain prefabs I deleted. So, is that possible?

The best way to ensure this doesn’t happen again is for you to file a bug to us so we can fix.

If you did that already, please reply with the 6-digit case number so we can have a look, otherwise file the bug, with the project and some specific repro steps.

Thanks,
Chris

Oh, sorry, I stopped the report since it was taking too long to load. I believe it was zipping my entire project. I was working so I just canceled it. So, I will send one thru tonight after work.

Best,
