I opened this bug report, but it was closed saying “Customer QA team is only handling issues related to the Unity Engine and its tools”.
But then mentioned that Services Support is only for “Accounts, Licenses, Asset Store, and other non-technical issues”. So I guess here is the only place to report bugs.
Report Description:
What happened
Using Unity 6000.0.23f1 and Unity Web.
When using the packages com.unity.services.vivox (16.5.3) and com.unity.services.wire (1.2.7) and enabling “Target WebAssembly 2023” in project settings, once trying to connect to a room, the web player crash with an error of unknown dyncall function.
How can we reproduce it using the example you attached
Hi @De-Panther ,
Thank you for the reproduction steps, the reproduction project and for the hint to the dynCall. We are aware of the dyncall update for the Wire package and a fix will be included in the next version.
Thanks.
I guess it’s only for the Wire package?
What about the Vivox package? (cc @vgauth@NickFromVivox )
And I’m mostly confused of where should I report bugs in Services packages. As the Services Support according to Customer QA is only for non-technical issues.
It’s ok if posting here is the correct place (it can also help others), just wants to make sure.
@De-Panther thanks for posting on discussions.
I will follow up with the QA team regarding the bug report. It should have found a way to the Vivox support and engineering team. We will look at improving this flow moving forward.
You can contact Vivox support directly through the Unity dashboard and click on the help icon on the top right of the dashboard. Submit a request for the Cloud service you need help with.
Regarding the reported bug, It should be fixed in the next version.
Thanks.
So reporting a bug in a service package, should be using the Unity bug report, submitting request in cloud dashboard or here in the forums? Which one?
